The last Board meeting of the year took place on Monday 19 December with new additions Fatima Hadj and Graeme Faulds meeting the full team in person for the first time.
A full day’s work, alongside a working lunch, saw everyone finish the day in high spirits, glad to have moved the company and its mission forward.
Our Board now includes:
Fatima Hadj, our new non-executive director. She is head of Climate Strategy at HSBC Asset Management, with 20 years’ experience in scaling businesses across financial services and advising on ESG factors. She is the Chair of the Principles for Responsible Investment Network. As an experienced leader and expert in environmental investing, we’re excited to welcome her on board.
Graeme Faulds joins us as Chair. He is a private equity professional, entrepreneur and senior business executive, experienced in growing early-stage businesses like ours. Latterly he has worked as a strategic advisor and Board member for multiple tech companies. With over 20 years of experience in business growth and strategy he’s set to bring a lot of knowledge to the role.
Tim Woodcock is our investor director and also joins us as a non-executive director. He is Senior Investment Manager for Equinor Ventures, the energy company’s venture capital arm dedicated to investing in climate tech startups. He has 12+ years of experience in green energy business development, finance and startup bootstrapping. We look forward to utilising his varied expertise in green businesses.
CEO, Dr Murrary Collins, called the appointments “an enormous coup” and is thrilled to have such well-respected finance and climate experts join Space Intelligence.
“As Chair, Graeme is going to be an enormous support as we grow, while the expertise and networks of Fatima and Equinor Ventures will be instrumental in helping us further develop our products and services,” Dr Collins said.
