The Philippines in Full Focus: Turning the Data into Projects

According to our recent country report, the Philippines has the potential to store nearly 80 million tonnes of carbon a year across 15.5 million hectares of eligible land for forest restoration and conservation.

Join prof Ed Mitchard, Chief Scientist, and Cameron Nicol, Head of Revenue,  for a live session on one of Southeast Asia’s most compelling nature-based markets. We’ll tell the story behind the numbers:  how the country’s forests have changed, where deforestation is slowing and where it’s intensifying, and which islands hold the greatest restoration and conservation potential.

We’ll then use our NbS Screening Tool to assess potential project areas, and stress-test them against durability risks specific to the Philippines like extreme weather and fire.
