The Living Planet Symposium 2022, Bonn Germany
We were honoured to sponsor the Living Planet Symposium 2022, hosted by the European Space Agency at the World Conference Center in Bonn, Germany. The Living Planet Symposium is amongst the biggest Earth observation conferences in the world. The 2022 event provided a platform for scientists to present their latest findings on Earth’s environment and climate derived from satellite data and focused on Earth observation’s role in building a sustainable future and a resilient society. Sponsoring this event was a valuable experience for us in contributing to the scientific rigour required to improve earth observation technology and applications to combat climate change.
Low Carbon Travel
Our team represented Space Intelligence in Bonn, Germany over the three days of the event to connect with other’s in the industry. We made this 1,250km journey from Edinburgh to Germany and back again by train. This journey took over 20 hours for a round trip. It is important to do our part to lower carbon emissions and our team are passionate about protecting our planet for the future. Where we can, we choose low carbon travel to allow us to uphold this commitment and engage in the space industry and climate change community which we operate in.
